Imagine starting your journey with the sound of the ocean, warm tropical weather, and the thrill of surfing along Ecuador’s legendary Ruta del Sol. This 7-day experience is designed for travelers looking for more than just a vacation — it’s an opportunity to improve your surfing, connect with nature, and experience the relaxed rhythm of Ecuador’s Pacific coast.
Your home base will be Ayampe, a peaceful beach town surrounded by tropical landscapes and uncrowded waves. You’ll stay in a comfortable oceanfront guesthouse where every morning begins with breakfast by the sea.
Throughout the trip, you’ll explore some of the best surf spots on mainland Ecuador, including Ayampe, Río Chico, La Playita, Montañita, Puerto Cayo and San Lorenzo. Depending on ocean conditions, we may also visit legendary surf destinations such as Playas, Salinas or Manta.
Beyond surfing, this experience is also about slowing down and enjoying the atmosphere of the coast: local food, sunsets, nature walks and authentic moments shared with local communities.

Day 1
Arrival in Guayaquil and private transfer to Ayampe. Welcome and check-in at your oceanfront accommodation.
Days 2 – 6
Daily surf trips along Ecuador’s Ruta del Sol. Explore different surf breaks including Ayampe, Río Chico, La Playita, Montañita, Puerto Cayo and San Lorenzo with your local surf guide.
Optional seasonal activity (June – October): whale watching tour on the Ecuadorian coast.
Day 7
Final breakfast by the ocean and private transfer back to Guayaquil Airport.
